Commentary: HnS #29 Saving Character Data

On the Unity documentation page for PlayerPrefs it says:

PlayerPrefs are stored in the registry under HKCU\Software\[company name]\[product name] key

This is in your registry. So on Windows 7, go to Start -> Type regedit.

Then go to HKey_Current_User -> Software -> Either your company name or your Windows User name -> Game name.

If you haven’t set your Company name or your Game name, in Unity go to:

File -> Build Settings -> Player Settings

This opens up an inspector window where you can specify your company name and game name. You can also set the game Icon, a Splash image, etc.
